The Hawker family, all four of us, Bill, Julia Lisa and Louise are returning to Japan, to mark the second anniversary of Lindsay's death. As a family, we know this is important because we want the Japanese people to know that Tatsuya Ichihashi has not been brought to justice for the terrible murder of our daughter and sister. We will remind them of the crime, and again make a public appeal for their help in bringing this man to justice and in trying to help the Japanese police capture this man.
Lindsay Ann Hawker was a care-free 22-year-old following her dream of teaching English in Japan
when she was brutally murdered.
Lindsay was last seen on the 25th of March 2007 with 28-year-old Tatsuya Ichihashi and her body was discovered on the balcony of his flat in Tokyo. He remains the Japanese Police's only suspect and is on the run.
We need you to help us find this man so that he is brought to justice for Lindsay. If you have visited Japan recently take a look at his photograph left captured on CCTV leaving the Tokyo apartment, if you live in Japan please be vigilant and report any sightings or information to the police.
Please let us know of any information that you may have that may help catch Lindsay's killer. Lindsay had a fantastic future ahead of her, she was kind, beautiful and she touched everyone who met her. She was an integral part of the Hawker family and is very much missed by dad Bill, mum Julia, sisters Lisa and Louise and boyfriend Ryan Garside.
Please don't let Lindsay's death be in vain help us to get justice for Lindsay.
