HAWKER FAMILY STATEMENT
As the first anniversary of the murder of Lindsay Hawker approaches, we are travelling back to Tokyo, Japan, to try and raise the profile of the case.
The only suspect in the case 29 year old Tatsuya Ichihashi, has still not been captured, and a year on he is still at large. We firmly believe he is still alive, and is possibly being helped by a third party.
A new poster has been issued by the Japanese police, giving computer generated photo-fit pictures of what he could look like one year on.
All of Lindsay's family and friends all over the world remain determined to keep up their efforts, and to seek justice for their daughter, sister and friend. We are trying to do all we can to assist the Japanese police in catching Ichihashi. The Facebook Site "Don't forget Lindsay Hawker, Please remember this Face" has been set up and has over 20,000 members.
We say again "Please don't let Lindsay's death be in vain help us to get justice for Lindsay".
She was an amazing young woman, who travelled to Japan to teach. She was brutually murdered and this evil man needs to be caught before he strikes again.
